Bleacher00These gorgeous bleacher planks were salvaged from LeMoyne College in Syracuse and are now available in Buffalo.

Douglas Fir. Grain fineness is close to heart pine. Dense, clear, vertical grained.

They can be picked up at the ReUse Action Store, 980 Northampton Street, Buffalo NY 14208 on Saturday 6/26/2016. Our store is open every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, 9 am to 4 p.m. Also, available by appointment.

Unique, extraordinary material. They can be used for interior finishes, for furniture making, etc. They’d make exceptional wide-plank flooring. We can arrange for milling – add tongue & groove etc.

Bleacher01Two sizes available:

  • Main bleacher planks…1″ thick, 9″ wide, 16+ feet long. $3/linear foot.
  • Riser bleacher planks…3/4″ thick, 7″ wide, 16+ feet long. $2/linear foot.
  • These boards are very fine grained, possibly old-growth wood.

Also available:

  • 5/4×11, almost 18 feet long, Yellow Pine, not as fine grained as the other boards $3/linear foot. Some boards are finger-jointed to make up the longer length.

All of these boards have bolt holes every two to four feet. These could easily be plugged with waste material.
